I have been licensed to practice law since 1982, and am admitted into the State Bars of New York, California, Hawaii and District Of Columbia. Since 2004, I have been practicing law in Fairport, New York in my own firm.
I am a Member of the New York State Bar Association, the Monroe County Bar Association and Ontario County Bar Association.
I do extensive pro bono work for the Volunteer Legal Services Program in Monroe County, and received the William E. McKnight Volunteer Service Award in 2006.
I am on the Attorney for the Children panel for Courts in Monroe County, and have represented children numerous times in Family Court for custody and visitation matters, and on appeals.
During the course of my career, I have appeared in Court thousands of times, and have represented Clients on all aspects of cases, from pre trial conferences through trials and appeals. I have tried custody, visitation, child support and other Family Court matters in Family Court, and divorce cases in Monroe County Supreme Court, and have represented parents in well over 50 appeals.
I am an avid runner and have run in marathons and ultramarathons. I have also been extensively involved in martial arts, and have a Second Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate.
